Working with a TV documentary team working to make a BBC documentary covering the life of Ronnie Campbell. A great day working with a small film crew headed up by the producer David Jewell. Ronny and his lovely wife Deirdre were filmed being interviewed in their home then we visited their home town of Blyth where Ronnie engaged with local residents. it was clear how popular he is and how he is trusted by people who share his passion for the place where he was born. We also visited the coast where a few of my images captured Ronny with an industrial backdrop. Ehe evening was spend at his favourite Chinese restaurant where the completion of filming took place before we enjoyed a lovely meal with Ronnie and Deirdre. although filming a photography was now complete the pair were so entertaining that everyone wished that filming had continued. I am not politically minded but listening to Ronnie and Deirdre speak about current issues illustrated why they are so well respected.
