Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Q If our wedding is in Scotland will it cost us more money?

A  I cover photography anywhere in the world; an additional cost would reflect actual expenses only including travel cost and accommodation if required.  However, we never charge more than the actual cost.

Q  On our wedding day will you take photographs that were not discussed during our meeting?

A  I meet with you to ensure that I understand exactly what you want considering style approach etc.  However, I never stop taking photographs throughout the time I am with you.

Q What if we don’t want other people to see our wedding photographs

A This is completely under your control.  You will see your first batch of images by entering your chosen password within four days of your wedding.  If you choose to share these or your processed set when they are complete then it’s your choice.  Couples often ask me to share a few chosen images on Facebook, and also allow me to add a few images to my wedding site.  If you don’t want that to happen it won’t.

Q Do we need to pay anything before we get our photographs

A  I ask for a 20% holding deposit to secure your date.  I then required full payment four weeks before the Wedding date.   Written receipts are provided when payment is cleared.

Q If we want you to provide a printed album can you do that.

A Yes I can, the cost will depend upon your album selections, the price can vary massively depending on the album type and number of images.  I will need to charge a little extra to agree with you which images you want to include, the size order and layout.

Q If we want to book you for a portrait set do you have your own studio?

A Yes I have a small studio but also access to a large studio if required.  However, we love to take portrait images in a real environment.  Because we use studio quality lighting powered by battery packs we can be very versatile and work anywhere including outside.
